Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions, and read the Bible Story with scripture references indicated under the power outlets. As this is done each day, let your child color in or put a sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will have their Picture posted in the foyer of Power Source and their name in the newsletter.

We need to renew our minds with the Word of God.

Romans 12:2, And be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Father God, Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastors Ron and Hope. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love is flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great you are and how much I love you. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed. In Jesus' name, Amen

God is a spirit and I must worship Him in spirit and in truth. John 4:24 When I have believed on Jesus as my Savior and received him, the Sprit Himself bears witness with my spirit that I am a child of God. Romans 8:16 I believe on Jesus and the works that He did I shall do also. Greater works than these I will do because Jesus went to His Father. John 14:12

Many times we have though a certain way for a long time, but it is not the way God thinks. If our thoughts are different than Gods thoughts we must change our thinking. We all get bad thoughts in our minds sometimes. The devil is the one who puts them there. Get rid of those wrong, disobedient thoughts. Put Gods Word in your mind instead by reading your Bible, coming to church, and by praying. This will change your mind. In our lesson this week we find that Peter thought that Jesus only wanted to save the Jewish people but God showed him through a vision that Jesus came to save all people.
