    When a bass drum is hit it emits sound waves which are rapid changes in air pressure which the mix picks up on. These changes result in an electrical current produced which then travels down a XLR cable to a mixing desk. The mixing desk then can use the gain control to increase or decrease current moving to and from the mixer. This results in a louder volume from the microphone. There are also pre built EQ's in the mixing desk which can reduce the Low, Mid and High frequencies

InthecomputerDAWyoucanselectatrackfromtheinterfacewhich relatestotheoutput/inputofthemixerandaudiointerface.Thismeansyou cansenddifferentsignalstodifferenttracksatthesametime.IntheDAW youcanalsodomostofthemixerfunctionsandeffects.
