TOXIC DOSE
> 140 mg/kg or > 7.5 gm in 24 hrs

ANTIDOTE
N-acetylcysteine

ADULT DOSE
NAC -140mg/kg RT stat followed by 70mg/kg q4h for 17doses

Glucagon positive inotropic & chronotropic effects Sodium bicarbonate

IVF Glucagon 0.05 -0.1mg/kg IV bolus, followed by 1-10 mg/hr infusion Amrinone, Adrenaline - for refractory hypotension NaHCo3 1-2 mEq/kg IV bolus, Repeat till pH is 7.5 7.55. Lidocaine Nor-adrenaline Amyl nitrite inhalation, 3% Sodium nitrite IV 25% Sodium thiosulfate IV Vit K PO, SC, IV if INR raised FFP 10 ml/kg Desferioxamine 2 gm IM Vit K 5 - 25 mg SC (10 ml Amp contains 300mg), (50ml Amp contains 12.5 gm)

CYANIDE Wide anion gap MA, Hypoxia without cyanosis RAT KILLER Bleeding manifestations IRON SALTS vomiting, diarrhoea, dehydration, hepatic failure BENZODIAZEPINES CNS depression Respiratory depression Hypotension CALCIUM CHANNEL BLOCKERS Bradycardia Hypotension AV Block Hyperglycemia Verapamil 720 mg Diltiazem 420 mg Nifedipine 50 mg 20 mg/kg of elemental iron

Nitrite Thiosulfate kit

Vitamin K, FFP

Desferioxamine

Flumazenil

0.2 mg IV every 1-2 minutes till response or a total dose of 3 mg

Calcium gluconate Glucagon Insulin

Calcium gluconate - 10 % 10 ml IV over 5 mins Glucagon 0.05 mg / kg IV bolus Insulin - 1 U / kg , followed by 1 U/kg /hr infusion
