The San Bernardino County, Department of Public Health has a long history of involvement in public health services as they relate to the underserved populations. In addition, as our populations age, we understand that promoting a culture of living well now can greatly impact and improve the outcomes for our future seniors. As a leader in our community committed and dedicated to the needs and issues of our aging population, Dr. Sherzai has been instrumental in the development of a joint Live Well, Age Well Summit to be held in November 2013. His expertise and leadership on all aging issues, has provided a strong framework for this inaugural partnership that brings together diverse stakeholders from all sectors to address the health and well-being of our entire community.
