1A. How did the wheel assist in completing work? How was work done previously?

A wheel is circler component that rotates on it axis. The wheel had a huge impact on history. It allows heavy objects to be moved easily while supporting a load. It made transportation so much faster then it used to be. Before wheels were invented, they either used to carry it by them selves or by animals and it was much slower than using wheels. It was really hard for people, until the wheel was invented and it made their lives so much easier than it used to be. They can just attach the wheels to a supporter and pull it by an animal. Its faster then just making the animal carry it on their backs. They just have to pull it. People would use them to transport goods from one place to another and even from one country to another. These people that used them would get to where they want faster than they used to be. It would also benefit them in wars or battles. If someone gets injured, they could transport him to the hospital or for care faster than they would if they didnt have wheels.

1B. What social, cultural, political, and economic impacts did the wheel have on society?

A social impact that the wheel had on society is that people could visit each more and in less time than if they didnt have wheels. A cultural impact is that since they realized that its really beneficial, they started using it everyday which made it become part of their culture. A political impact is that land started changing a lot faster with the wheels getting invented because land would be harvested faster, food would be gathered faster, and people would be moving everywhere. An economic impact that the wheels caused is that they made a lot of groups trade with each other much faster than they did before the wheel was invented.

2A. How did this invention or innovation assist in completing work? How was work done previously?

There were 3 stages to pottery during the Neolithic Age. The first one was called Pre-Pottery Neolithic A but during this time it they only had true farming. The only thing that included pottery was their circular houses which was made out of mud bricks. The second one was called Pre Pottery Neolithic B which they found evidence of pottery/mud brick like burials that contained bones of dead people. The third one is named Pottery Neolithic which was the time where they started to make pottery out of Fertile Crescent. There was a lot of ways to make pottery but some examples would be just by hand or the potters wheel. The clay pots served as storage for food and water. It was very effective for this people because they were very nomadic and it made it easy for them to transfer their resources with them. The most important and best advantage would be to keep animals away from it.

2B. What social, cultural, political, and economic impacts did this event have on society?

The Neolithic Age is also called the New Stone Age, and is a very important part of history, because of the advancements in technology compared to the Mesolithic Age, and the advancements in culture. It is said to have began around 10,200 BC, and to have developed directly from the Epipaleolithic culture in the region; who began true farming after making wild cereals. During this age people lived in small tribes. There's little to no scientific evidence of such things as leaders or kings or anything like that, suggesting that everyone in that time, more or less, were all considered equal. Families and households were economically dependent, and were very important to the peoples of this time. During the Neolithic Age there were many advances in culture, mostly in pottery; evidence of this has been found in Lebanon, Palestine, the Fertile Crescent, and all over Africa and Europe. The pottery of the times changed from basic clay pots and things to semi-complex things such as large uniquely designed bowls, statues, and other things. Paint was also created, and introduced to people, making the pottery constructed much more appealing to look at. The culture also advanced when farming was introduced; by making it easier to feed large groups of people, and provided a nearly consistent food source. There were no political, and economic advancements because there were no politics or economics at the time.
