Instructional Activity 1. Motivation 2. Objective

Description of the Activity Show a video analysis about different fanny service of skills in playing volleyball and ask if they have an idea about it. Students will be able to: 1. Describe how a Volleyball game is started. 2. Practice the correct position of each player, and execution of the kinds of serve in Volleyball. 3. Show interest in the lesson through active participation in the class learning activities. Presentation of the Lesson: Let the class perform warm up exercises (stretching). Discuss the following: History, Equipment, playing court, players. Service as a way of putting the ball into play. Signaling the start of a game. Have a demonstration and mimetics of the different kinds of serve.

Students will play Hit the box the mechanics of the game are the following: They will draw numbers from the box. Each number has a corresponding place to target. The student must serve the ball on the place where it should be placed according to the number they picked out. They should serve at the serve line of the court.

5. Evaluation/Assessment

Student will be grouped into four groups and they will have a group practice on the different kinds of serve. Have a group practice on the different kinds of serve. In the scale of 10, how will you rate your performance? Why? Student will be graded according to the rubric below: CRITERIA POINTS 1. Correctness of execution 20 2. Form 20 3. Stance 20 4. Control 20 5. Accuracy 20 TOTAL: 100

6. Assignment

The students will be given assignments. They should answer the following questions on a blog. They should create a blog and answers these questions. 1. What are the different kinds of volleyball pass? 2. Which of these passes can be used for offensive play? Why? 3. What is the commonly used pass for defense? Why? 4. What do you feel during the practical activity? It is hard or not? 5. What values can you impart to your classmates during the activity? 6. Were you able to serve the ball to the other side of the net? Why? 7. Which serve did you find difficult? Why? 8. Is the effectiveness of a service important in a game? Why do you think so? Teacher will show a video analysis about different any service of skills in playing volleyball and ask if they have an idea about it. Students what was their idea about the topic. The teacher will discuss now about volleyball. For their activity they will play a Hit that Box game. After that students will be assess upon the criteria or rubric given.
