Weekly News Assignment


1. Every student is assigned to NEWS for two days. During the first week of school all students will sign up for their news week for the first half of the year. 2. Bring in three articles of news for both days. You may bring in news from the Internet, the newspaper, the radio, the television, or another source if you can think of one! You must have a hard copy of each article - from the newspaper or printed off the computer or written down by YOU. One article must be International news (outside of Canada). One article must be National news (outside of BC but within Canada). One article must be Local news (in British Columbia). 3. Tell the class WHAT the news is, WHO it is about, WHERE the news took place, and WHEN the news took place. All the news must be CURRENT (it happened in the past few days.) 4. Post your articles on the news board for all to see!
