Please answer the following prompt in essay format, utilizing MLA formatted in-text citations: What are some instances of McCarthy breaking the standard rules of English grammar? What effect does this have on your experience of reading The Road? What is added and/or detracted from theses deviations from Standard English?

WEDNESDAY As the instructor will be absent, after the vocabulary quiz, students will be afforded the rare opportunity to read silently in class and prepare for Fridays Socratic dialogue.
