Solar power soon to be more than a mirage

Despite the availability of solar power in the UAE we do not see it being used as much as in European countries. The reason is because the UAE has been using natural gas, which was easily available and didnt cost a lot. Natural gas used to be a better option because it was inexpensive and more secure. However, these days the cost of natural gas is on the rise while that of solar power is declining and the country is now doing more to use its solar resources for energy like building the worlds largest solar power plant.
