Prestige Events is a well-known, full-service event planning and design production firm based in New York City with offices in Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Atlanta, and Chicago . Founded in 2003 and led by renowned event producer Candice Brown, our talented designers and managers create the most celebrated events worldwide for a broad range of international clientele in the entertainment, fashion, publishing, arts, media, and consumer product industries.

Our
Candice Brown: President and Founder of Prestige Events
After receiving her Undergraduate Degree in Public Relations from Hampton University, and her masters degree in International Affairs from Columbia University, Brown achieved her dream of establishing her own event-planning company. Brown has established numerous high-profile connections through her years of experience, helping to make every aspect of her clients events exceed their expectations. She has been featured in publications including The Wall Street Journal, Grace Ormonde, Style Me Pretty, Here Comes the Guide, The Vibe News, and more. With her strong base of luxury clientele, she ensures integrity and refinement in everything in which she is involved. Her unique personality, kindness, and taste for excellence have brought her to create both small events as well as grand galas for a diverse breadth of clientele. Brown has strove to ensure that those at Prestige Events continually maintain the focus of creating a comfortable environment for clients in order to create an atmosphere of utmost professionalism. Her intent is for every event to be unique, tasteful and personal to the vision of the client.

Brianna Dance
Vice President of Prestige Events
Brianna Dance is the Vice President of Prestige Events, a full-service event planning and design production firm based in New York City. Dance received her Bachelors of Arts in public relations with a concentration in business management from Hampton University in 2000. Dance also specializes in many areas including marketing, branding, and event planning. She embarked on her career as a high-level events planner while coordinating public events for Oprah Winfrey, Jay-z, and P.Diddy. The events were international, national and statewide, including official visits to Italy, France and Japan. Prior to working at Prestige, she served as the senior director of special events and community affairs for Sacks Productions, Sharon Sacks leading events company. Dance has received numerous accolades including New York Times Business woman of the Year in 2010 and has been featured in Harpers Bazaar, Ebony, and BizBash.com.

Brielle Muriel
Design and Development Manager
Brielle Muriel is the Design and Development Manager at Prestige Events, a fullservice event planning and design production firm based in New York City. Muriel is a graduate of Hampton University, where she received her Bachelors of Arts in Public Relations with a concentration in Marketing. Muriels career has focused on brand awareness and event coordination for well-known names including The Food Network, The Gap, and Adidas. Prior to working at Prestige, she served as the Vice President at David Tutera Event Planning and Design, where she helped design walls and dinner tables for the 2010 Grammy Awards. Muriel has been featured in a number of popular publications including, Ebony Magazine,Good Food Magazine, and GQ.

Event Pitch
The
Prestige Events will be hosting pop-up venues for Teen Vogue magazine, in hopes to promote greater social conscience. The pop-up will travel to 10 cities in the US, setting up shop in the cities biggest malls. Guests will feel as if theyre actually walking through the magazine, the pages will be simulated and selected articles will be up for real live discussion. The pop-up plans to feature a celebrity guest appearance, photo booths, fashion shows, makeovers sponsored by Maybelline, and advice panels ran by bloggers and editors. Visitors will leave uplifted and inspired. They will most importantly leave informed about the importance of positive self-image, types of eating disorders, and how to prevent going down its destructive path.

Social Media Connection:


Prestige Events wants to engage as many readers as possible on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook in addition to Teen Vogue Pop-Up Events in area malls. We encourage readers to post the body part you hate the most on social media sites and include the hashtag #TeenVogue. We hope the posts will help increase self-confidence with positive commentary from other participants. Also, all Teen Vogue social media accounts will post an untouched magazine 2012 cover once a week with the hash -tag #nofilter, to show girls how these women look naturally, without retouching.

Logistics
General Management & Pre-Event Coordination: -Create a liability checklist and minimize risks associated with mall security, and equipment. -Collaborate with mall maintenance about equipment set-up and packing times, clean-up crews, mall spacing. -Prestige Events to manage all entertainment including runway show, live DJ, and refreshment stations. -Produce and communicate a potential running order for each pop-up at every city, and complete a progression list at the end of every hour. -Ensure Teen Vogue clients, vendors, sponsors, and other related officials needs are met and can be contacted easily. -Manage all logos and graphics to be used so that all are represented -Create one point of contact for all clients to reach Prestige Events in an effort to make decisionmaking easier. -Lighting, sound, visual, and food vendors are to be reviewed and confirmed. -Create an address book/ phone book for all related companies, sponsors, etc of Teen Vogue. -Oversee pop-up rehearsals, venue logistics, event meetings, travel times, rest stop locations.
