Friends of Jesus Christ and Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church,

Beloved! I wanted to write a quick note to let you know of the results from the Church Conference this past Sunday, October 27. The purpose of this special called conference was for members to vote on funding for the building project that was unanimously recommended to the membership by our Church Board and leadership.

In short, the Church Conference overwhelming authorized moving forward on the building improvement projects identified in the information book that was provided on our website and in the narthex on Sundays. We are grateful for this strong affirmation and commitment to do the things we believe are necessary to enable us to more effectively reach those who are living a life without Christ.

As is the case in any decision, we listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying to us in our conversations with one another. Once a decision is made, however, we move forward together and with one voice as God directs. We have been a faith community devoted to Christ and to the best interest of one another for the last 180 years, and we will continue to be defined by these commitments as we move into this next exciting season. I am inviting us all to pause long enough to hear what God is asking of us personally and collectively, and then to commit to an even more robust devotion to service to God as we love one other.
