Geriatric Depression Scale (short form) Scoring: One point for each response that is in capital letters.

Scoring cutoff: normal (0-5), above 5 suggests depression.

Cornell Scale for Depression in Dementia Scoring (based on symptoms/signs occurring during the week prior to testing): a = unable to evaluate; 0 = absent; 1 = mild or intermittent; 2 = severe.
