Volunteered over 400 hours aiding in the confidence building, ocean awareness, instruction and demonstration of rip currents and ocean safety, and fitness building in youth Junior Lifeguard participants. Completed 40+ hour training program emphasizing physical fitness, rip current awareness, ocean safety, and beach safety. Trained in first aid and open water rescues; preformed actual oceanic rescues

Volunteered at various swim meets, helping with logging times, organizing flyers displaying heat and events for swimmers, relaying information to officials, and delivering food to the volunteer timers and officials.
