CAMELS

Camels live in the desert. They can live without food and water for many days. They eat grass, grains and branches. They can also eat thorny twigs. Camels have humps on their backs. There are camels with one hump. There are also camels with two humps. They have soft and wide feet. They can walk for a long time in the desert. They are useful animals. They can carry people and heavy loads. The camel is also known as the Ship of the Desert.
