ROTATION CALCULATIONS FOR 45M OBLIGATORY SPAN As per sheet 193 of ref doc doc-16, Rev-D 1.

Maximum moment at mid span for service stage (G1 case) - 78262 kN-m

2. Moment due to live load at mid span for service stage (G1 case) - 22838 kN-m 3. PT force provided for the section 4. % PT force available in service stage after all losses - 49140 kN - 76.25%

5. Net PT force available in section after all losses (0.7625 * 49140) - 37470 kN 6. Eccentricity of tendons from C.G of section at mid span 7. Hogging moment at mid span due to PT force (37470 *1.57455) 8. Net sagging moment at mid span (76262-58998)-Mmax 9. Rotation as per IRC-83-Part-II Cl.916.3.5 = 0.40 * Mmax *L/(E I) 10. Center to Center Span of Viaduct 11. Moment of inertia of section I at mid span 12. Elastic modulus of concrete as per ref doc and - 43.30m - 6.70 E+12 - 32500 N/mm2 - 1574.55 mm - 58998 kN-m - 19264 kN-m

(Ec value is considered in full as the net sagging moment (19264kN-m) which creates rotation is less than live load moment 22838kN-m and the rotation is purely due to live load moment only. The rotations due to dead and imposed loads are balancing with that of PT effect. Ec value to be considered is only half as per Cl 916.3.5 of IRC-83 Part-II for the moments due to permanent loads like dead loads, imposed loads, PT force etc) 13. Rotation = 0.40 * 19264*106 * 43.33*103/(32500*6.7*1012) - 0.00153 rad

14. The rotation is 0.00153 and is less than maximum permissible rotation 0.002 as per DBR, hence O.K
