Teacher will introduce the todays topic is flooding. 2. Teacher will ask: Does anyone have any ideas of what flooding is? 3. Good, anyone else? 4. There will introduce the topic flooding by having the students watch a BrainPop video. http://www.brainpop.com/science/earthsystem/floods/ B. Development 1. Teacher will hand out guided notes to everyone 2. Students will then follow along through the power point and fill in the blanks when needed. 3. I will also make sure that materials are accessible. E. Assessment/Evaluation plan 1. Formative A. Group collage on Flooding Safety will be collected and reviewed for a group assessment. (Rubric attached) 2. Summative A. End of the lesson quiz V. Reflective Response

A. Report of Students Performance in Terms of States Objectives B. Remediation plan C. Personal Reflection
1. Is the lesson long enough? 2. Was the information on the power point strong enough to teach students what flooding is? 3. Were the groups to large while working on the collage? 4. How could this lesson be improved?
