An Annotated Bibliography This annotated bibliography was compiled in order to explore the increasingly exigent and controversial topic of the efficiency of online education. My interest in this topic was catalyzed nearly two years ago after my father was enrolled in an online education of a college with the purpose of getting a bachelor degree. This issue is controversial because nowadays, more and more online education institutions are set up to provide people a different way to access to the high education. Students like me, and their parents want to know more about this kind of education. And many scholars and the administrative staff of colleges want to see if its worth popularizing online education. The research question that guided my research is: Can online courses take place of traditional courses in classroom? Between the date of October 3, 2013 and October 24, 2013, I conducted the research in order to figure out the advantage and disadvantage of online and traditional courses to see if online courses can take place of traditional courses in classroom. Included here are four sources, one of which is an academic article published in peer-reviewed journals. Another one is an editorial from a newspaper. The rest two sources are newspaper articles online.
