IMIROK: REAL-TIME IMITATIVE ROBOTIC ARM CONTROL FOR HOME ROBOT APPLICATIONS

Introduction
The Embedded Technology is now in its prime and the wealth of Knowledge available is mind-blowing. Embedded System is a combination of hardware and software. Embedded technology plays a major role in integrating the various functions associated with it. This needs to tie up the various sources of the Department in a closed loop system. This proposal greatly reduces the manpower, saves time and operates efficiently without human interference. This project puts forth the first step in achieving the desired target. With the advent in technology, the existing systems are developed to have in built intelligence.

Existing System:
Now a days in robot we are using the interaction between human and sensor-enabled home robots in a smart home environment to monitoring and controlling the robot section, In this application we can be done gesture or user motion to operating a robotic arm for home appliances.

Proposed System:
In this project we are discussing about a imirok real time imitative robotic arm control. The system detects user motions in real time, we are using microcontroller, MATLAB section, and Robot mechanism. In this captured gesture movement image are then processed by using image processing technique, the processed are then converted into voltage levels through MAX 232 level converter and given it to the microcontroller unit. In the microcontroller unit, c language coding is predefined, according to this coding the robot arm which connected to it was controlled. Robot which has several motors is activated by using the relays. Relays are nothing but electromagnetic switch which ON/OFF according to the control given by the microcontroller unit.
