Vision The vision of ASGL is to produce globally, competent citizens that are prepared to meet all of the challenges

of the 21st century. ASGL strives to create an environment for learning and development, in which every student is prepared to succeed in college, other post-secondary education, or work and compete, communicate, and cooperate within an interconnected global community. Through this process, we facilitate the ability to embrace diversity and engage responsibly in the ongoing and emerging issues of the world with compassion, empathy, and tolerance. Mission To achieve these goals, ASGL employs a rich and rigorous, data-driven curriculum that promotes high achievement through the use of technology and the collaboration of highly qualified teachers, staff, students, community leaders, and parents. Our mission is for each student to have the same opportunity to be as confident as an actor on the world stage as their peers form around the world. In particular, ASGL attempts to create in every student, an awareness of how the world works through a broad exposure and participation in multiple networks influence. Guiding Principles There are a total of four guiding principles at ASGL: (1) Listen from the Heart, (2) Global citizens consider and respect different perspectives, (3) Be honest with yourself and others, and (4) Seek positive solutions and take action.
