The mission of Deer Park High School, North Campus, is to prepare ninth grade students for the challenges of the remaining years of high school and to motivate and equip each student to achieve his or her maximum potential as an adult.

ABOUT
Deer Park High School, North Campus, is the ninth grade center for Deer Park Independent School District. Four junior high campuses feed into the campus housing approximately 1,000 freshmen students each year. Starting as a ninth and tenth grade school, North Campus was created in the fall of 1974. Eighteen years later, in 1992, North campus became just a ninth grade center.

To maintain a rigorous and challenging curriculum using research-based initiatives, strategies, and technology, which will ensure academic excellence and achievement for all stakeholders.

AVID This college prep class is designed to ensure students are academically and socially prepared for success in college.
Shaping Character
Volundeers service club open only to DPHS 9th
graders who volunteer their time in a variety of non-profit settings throughout the community. Toy drives, Christmas cards for the military, and nursing home outreaches are just a few projects the volundeers participate in.
TOPS Taking the opportunity for personal Success provides students with afterschool tutoring in all core classes as well as some electives. TOPS is another way North Campus strives to meet students academic needs.
Hungry Harvest During the Thanksgiving season North Campus encourages students and faculty to reach out in the community by collecting canned goods for families in need.
Christmas sponsors North Campus faculty participates in Gifts from the Heart Program. This program includes teachers nominating students that might benefit from a little extra Christmas cheer and donates gifts during the holidays.
Student Council is offered to help develop leadership abilities. Students involved perform a variety of tasks setting moral examples for peers.
Football, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, soccer, golf, cross country, cheerleading, swimming, tennis, and bowling are only a few athletic programs North Campus students have the opportunity to participate in.
