There was no specific guideline for building a visualization for the data analysis so I incorporated all the questions into individual data frames. I went with a more minimalist approach to have more concise communication received when viewing the map. The absence of many flashy features I believe gives a more professional appearance In the project we were to use the more intermediate tools in the Arc Toolbox including; Dissolve, Union, Intersect, Buffer, Merges, and Joining Tables. I have already learned a basic understanding of how to use these tools previous to the assignment but the instruction taught me how to utilize these tools in a more efficient matter. In order to fit the variety of visualizations needed to cover all the questions without overlaying the data frames I had to make a larger map then 11x17. Something such as this final product can only be printed on a drafting roller printer. The second part of this is a analytical outline like Project 2. Also in the outline I condensed the material and analysis to be more appealing to the reader. This I believe is our last guided project. We will have a final project which I will be doing a infrastructure analysis and visualization of the results occurring from the recent Super Typhoon Haiyan. This map will be a final project for my Intro to GIS class but I will also be selling it on Scribd. The final product will be presented to relief agencies and 100% of the proceeds will go to support the relief effort through the Philippine Red Cross.
