1. VALIDATION OF SSH HOTEL CONFIRMATION BEFORE vMPD ISSUANCE

All SSH bookings must be confirmed before vMPD issuance.


There are instances where the status of hotel segments in SQ and Agency CRS are
not in sync. It is therefore important for agents to check the SSH hotel confirmation in
Kriscom (SQ Reservation System) by using the direct access PNR retrieval function.

The entries are:

i). SABRE / ABACUS

iii). WORLDSPAN

iv). GALILEO
Entry:
Step 1 - @@SQ/VIEWPNR (To toggle from Galileo system to Kriscom)

Step 3 - @@1G (To exit Kriscom and auto toggle back to 1G system)

Note: J12345 refers to PNR number.

Agents without the direct access retrieval function like Apollo and Infini can check
with Tradewinds for any pending SSH status via email:

2. MANDATORY ENTRY OF vMPD NUMBER IN PNR

As with the paper MCO/MPD, it is mandatory for agents to enter the vMPD
number in the agency PNR. This information will be captured in the hotels rooming
list. Please enter the vMPD number without the check digit in the booking.

3. MISSING vMPD NUMBERS IN PNR

Hotel rooming lists are generated to the hotels 48hours prior to passengers’
check-in and Tradewinds our ground operators, will run checks to ensure that all
vMPD numbers are captured in the PNR. In the absence of the numbers, Tradewinds
will alert the SQ station of origin to chase the respective agents for the information.
Tradewinds will in turn advise the hotels.
Note: it is the agency’s responsibility to ensure that the correct vMPD number is
entered to avoid any kind of inconvenience for the clients.

4. VERIFICATION OF vMPD BY HOTELS

Hotels are authorized to accept the passenger with a copy of the vMPD and will
ensure that the vMPD number tallies with that of the hotel rooming list.
Hotels will not accept the vMPD if the details of the vMPD are not available
upon passenger’s check-in. In such instances, hotel will accept the passenger
on passenger’s account and the passenger will have to take up with the agent
concerned upon return.
