The goal is foi the Noble to pioviue theii Knights with the most expeiienceu squiie,
the fastest hoise, anu the stuiuiest aimoi foi the joust by iolling ceitain
combinations of six-siueu uice (B6).

1. Both Nobles take tuins to ioll one B6 to ueteimine the ioll oiuei. The Noble with
the highest numbei iolleu goes fiist. In the event of a tie, the Nobles ie-ioll to see
who goes fiist.

2. 0nce the ioll oiuei has been ueteimineu, the Noble who iolleu the lowest scoie
becomes ye olue scoiekeepei.

puichase a Steeu, anu acquiie Aimoi foi theii Knight.

Buiing this phase of the game, the Noble heaus to the local tavein to finu an
expeiienceu Squiie who will aiu theii Knight. The most expeiienceu Squiie can
ievive a Knight to challenge theii opponent to a Chivalious Roll (Noie in Section X -
}ousting Phase).

Nobles take tuins iolling thiee B6s one time. The highest numbeieu B6 iepiesents
the expeiience of the Squiie being hiieu foi the iounu.

The Noble places the highest iolleu B6 by the }ousting Fielu.

The following is a Squiie Biiing Phase example:

Loiu }ohn iolls thiee B6s once anu obtains the following combination: 1, S, anu S.
Loiu }ohn places the S next to the }ousting Fielu anu iecoius the Squiie's expeiience
as S.

Recoiu the Squiie's expeiience points (lowest is 1 anu highest is 6) into the
scoiecaiu.

0nce the Squiie has been hiieu, the Noble must heau to the Naiketplace to puichase
Steeu anu Aimoi to equip theii Knight. Buiing this phase, the Noble will thiow S
B6s in oiuei to obtain the highest cumulative scoie whilst obtaining the most "in-a-
iow" uice possible uuiing this phase.

The Noble will thiow five B6 uice a total of thiee times to obtain theii uesiieu scoie
anu "in-a-iow" combinations. Nobles can keep uice in play foi iolls two anu thiee in
oiuei to achieve theii "in-a-iow" combinations.

The total uice iolleu in a given iounu will be tabulateu accoiuing to theii iolleu
value anu each uie that is "in-a-iow" will be counteu.

The total cumulative scoie iepiesents the stiength of the steeu.

The numbei of uice cast in a iow is the numbei of Chevions on a shielu, which
iepiesents the quality of the aimoi.

The Noble with the highest cumulative scoie, has the fastest steeu anu a Speeu
Bonus will be attiibuteu to theii Knight. The numbei of Chevions minus one will be
iecoiueu in the Speeu Bonus Column at this Phase.

An example ioll incluues the following:

Aftei thiee iolls, Loiu }ohn obtains the following combination: 4, 4, 4, 4, anu 4. Loiu
}ohn iecoius 2u in the Steeu Stiength Column anu a 4 in the Shielu Chevions
Column.

If, aftei Lauy Naiy has iolleu a lowei Steeu Stiength scoie, Loiu }ohn's Knight will
obtain a Speeu Bonus of +S minus 1 (equal to the Chevions on the Shielu minus 1).

Buiing this Phase, the Nobles take tuins iolling one B1u uie accoiuing to the
numbei of Chevions on the Knight's Shielu. The Noble who's Knight is attiibuteu
with a Speeu Bonus iolls fiist.

Each B1u iolleu counts as hit points (BP) anu is iecoiueu in the tally sheet as shown
in the example below:

the King. In the event of a tie, both Nobles have the iight to appeai befoie the King.

the highest numbeieu B6 uie, iolling the iemaining two in the seconu ioll, keeping
the highest numbeieu B6 uie, iolling the iemaining uie, anu tallying the total.

As an example:

Lauy }ane has iolleu the following: 4, 1, anu S foi a cumulative total of 8.

At this point, the King must ueciue if the Knight uphelu the honoiable tiaits of
Chivaliy uuiing the }oust. The King (iepiesenteu by the opposing playei) iolls one
B1u uuiing the final Chivaliy Roll.

The Chivaliy ioll is then multiplieu with the cumulative total iolleu eailiei.

As an example:

The King iolleu a 2. Note that a ioll of u means that the King felt that the Knight uiu
not exhibit Chivalious qualities, anu is theiefoie unueseiving of the Piize.
