The student will be able to discuss what they know about weather and objects in the sky. The student will be able to observe and record changes of objects in the sky. The student will be able to record their findings in the appropriate format.

will wear the observation officer headband while e&plaining to the students that we are going to be making observations in this lesson. That using my five senses and knowledge of weather will be able to discuss and observe things about the weather around me and the objects in the sky. will take the headband off before starting the lesson.

'rompt students to recall their five senses. -iscuss that they will be suing their sense of sight to make observations. Students will fill out a worksheet with a hand on it. They will color and label the five senses on each finger/ and then draw illustrations for each.

Students are going to be 2observation officers3. (sing the provided paper students will color#decorate 4*s to represent the letter 243 in observation officer. (sing a sentence strip students will make a headband then glue the two 24*s3 onto the headband to represent eyes. This will be an ongoing activity throughout this 4 . Students continue to add illustrations to the band on the headband as their study on weather and objects in the sky continues.

There will be many pictures of the types of weather we talk about and what it looks like. The pictures will be labeled so the 6LL will know what the picture is in 6nglish print.

:5ote this lesson is to take place over several days. Throughout the lesson students will go outside and observe the weather/ and record their findings in their science journals. Today*s lesson is just getting them into the habit of observing the weather and seeing if they notice changes in the sky with the changes of weather.
