Chalcedony-like veined guartz from exocontact zones of some hypabyssal granitoid massifs and
volcanogenic silver ore manifestation Aid contain the wastes (many a r e of not more than tenth
fractions of millimeter) of rocks, early varieties of veined quartz and ore clastic materials. Some wastes
are not similar to the direct veined body s u r r o u n d i n g s . This is connected with the formation of chal
cedony-like quartz from the solutions undergoing significant migration, untrapped and transported
clastogene material. Crystallization of chalcedony-like quartz is started when the solution contains the
significant amount of mineral admixtures. The necessary concentration may be achieved at the growing
front of the rims of pectinal and regenerated q u a r t z formed before chalcedony-like quartz w a s deposited
and confined the walls of veined cavities. The increased values of unit cell parameters show the rela
tion of splitted individuals to structural admixtures in chalcedony-like quartz.
