session about your tutee? Provide details and examples. How will what you learned from last session inform your planning for this session? What did you learn about yourself as a teacher? Last session with Danya went really well. For writing we started to write a rough draft of her narrative of her flat Stellas adventures. I am having her write this in her journal and not on the iPad to save time. For this lesson I am going to have her read over her narrative and fix errors and add anything that she might want to. We might also start the final draft if tim e allows. I plan on printing out all

the pi tures of her flat Stellas adventures for her to !eep along with all her writings. "uided reading went well# we made it half way through the story. $y stopping and as!ing the %uestions during the reading# I found that it helped with her understanding. &his story she seemed to 'e reading faster and not paying attention as mu h# so the extra %uestions I 'elieve helped with understanding. For the fluen y portion# Danya read over some previous texts to improve her fluen y. For this lesson I am going to have Danya start with the level ( texts and silent read one and read it over again out loud. I am urious to see if the omprehension is the same 'oth times and how it affe ts her fluen y.
