Zhone DSL Modem setup Open Internet Explorer and type in 192.168.1.1.

By default the username and password is admin/admin.

Click on the + sign beside Advanced Setup. Then click on WAN. (Do not click on Quick Setup) Click on Edit to setup the connection.

Enter the VPI/VCI and click Next. (Please call the office at 483-4638 to get your VPI/VCI)

Select PPP over Ethernet and Click Next. (*If you are hooking to a router choose Bridging and continue clicking next on the following screens without changing any other settings. Then click Save and Finish.)

Enter the username and password and Click Next. (Keep Alive should be checked by default.)

Make sure Enable Nat is checked and Enable Firewall is Not checked. (these should both be default settings) Click Next.

Verify the settings and Click Save.

Click Finish and wait for the modem to reboot.

To Verify the connection click on the + sign beside Device Info and then click on WAN. The Status should say up and you will have an IP address listed.
