journals in the white space provided.
-Join back in learning area after (1015min)
-Have students provide words that fall
under the following word ending
families: -op, -og, -ot, -ob, and -ox
-Choose a family and dictate sentence
using two words plus basic sight
words.
-Count the words in the sentence on
hand
-Check by writing the sentence on
chart paper after giving students a
chance to think about the sentence and
write it down in their journals!
