Prior Knowledge Discuss Health and Wellness to determine whether the students know the various aspects. 3. Learner Outcomes 4. Assessment of Learner DOK Level 1: Recall Players will learn about the 5 dimensions of health and wellness. (see PPT for detailed information) I will use a PowerPoint to deliver information and a quiz to assess knowledge. 5. Procedures: I will give an informal lecture using a power point that has pertinent information and facts that I will use to discuss with the players. Multiple Intelligence: Interpersonal & Verbal 6. Questions: In the space below, identify Identify the 5 dimensions of health and wellness. (remembering) Explain why each is important for athletics. (Understanding)

After the lesson, the players will recognize and describe the different dimensions of health and wellness to a 90% accuracy rate on the post lesson quiz. (Cognitive-Remembering)
