Area Coordinator (June 2012 Present) Office of Housing and Greek Life, University of the Pacific Serve as a member of the Residential Life Senior Staff in strategic planning and decision-making. Supervise, evaluate, and develop 5 Graduate-level Residence Directors including indirect supervision of 30 Assistant Residence Directors and Resident Advisors in a residential area of approximately 1000 students. Serve as Residence Director Search Committee responsible for hiring 7 new Residence Directors for the 2013 14 academic year. Chair RA Training Committee, responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluation of RA Training. Serve as a conduct hearing officer for cases within the residential area. Contribute to University Bias Response Team. Administer programming budget for communities in the residential area. Oversee administrative processes such as Residence Director Duty Scheduling and Health and Safety Inspections. Participate as part of an on-call rotation for a campus of 2000 students. Advise Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month student planning group. Advise Pacific A Cappella Association. Residence Director (July 2009 May 2012) Department of Residential Life, University of Vermont Provided direct supervision to 1 graduate Assistant Residence Director and 10 15 undergraduate Resident Advisors each year. Managed hall budgets of $6,400 in 2009 2010 and $9,500 in 2010 2011. Held student conduct hearings in response to housing and university policy violations. Advised a weekly Peer Conduct Board, which included 3 student associates. Utilized Restorative Practices framework in response to conflicts that occur in the residence halls. Served as on-call crisis responder for 4 weeks each academic year. Worked collaboratively with administrative Office Manager on openings, closings, facilities concerns, custodial concerns, and front desk management. Served on 4 departmental committees: Professional Staff Recruitment Selection and Training, Advocacy and Policy Review, Staff Celebration and Recognition, and Community and Leadership Development. Implemented programming models that consisted of content on diversity/multiculturalism, social justice issues, restorative practices, health and wellness career development, and other topics. Worked with 3 Residential Learning Communities: GreenHouse RLC, Arts Initiative RLC, and Global Village RLC Served on University of Vermont Divisional Diversity Council Advised Hit Paws A Cappella Group

Graduate Intern (August 2007 May 2009) The Program on Intergroup Relations, University of Michigan Provided leadership in the development, implementation, and sustainability of the CommonGround program, which has provided student-facilitated workshops on concepts of social identity, power, privilege, oppression, and social justice for over 1700 students. Supervised 3 undergraduate program coordinators and advised 8 volunteer student coordinators in various projects for the program. Increased the total number of workshops facilitated each semester by two-fold while coordinating and executing a marketing plan to promote the program across campus. Coordinated and organized on-going trainings and retreats, which focused on facilitation skills, self-awareness of social identities, and knowledge of social justice concepts. Developed training curriculum and trained student workshop facilitators through the semester. Planned over 50 workshops in collaboration with CommonGround facilitators. Organized on-going assessment of the impact of workshops and facilitator trainings. Graduate Intern (August 2008 May 2009) Office of Student Conflict Resolution, University of Michigan Adjudicated conduct hearings primarily for incidents involving alcohol and other drugs. Conducted mediations utilizing a social justice framework. Developed, implemented, and oversaw an advisory board of 15 student representatives from the University which met on a monthly basis to provide advice and feedback for the department. Managed various disciplinary cases that went through Alternative Conflict Resolution. Facilitated workshops that focused on conflict resolution skill-building. ACUHO-I Conference Intern (May 2008 August 2008) University Housing, University of South Carolina Managed housing arrangements for 20 summer conferences in two buildings. Assisted with crisis management duty responsibilities as a first responder. Supervised 7 student conference assistants who were responsible for conference guest check-ins and check-outs, room checks, utilizing the conference database, and other duties as assigned.
