Harlow Conservatives announce candidates for 2014 local elections

Residents are being severely let down by Harlow Labour who have increased their Council Tax and failed to show leadership on regeneration, the future of community services and housing. Conservative candidates have been out on the doorstep listening to local residents and it is clear that the majority agree with our plans to freeze Council Tax and safeguard community services. Labour lack a clear vision for Harlow's future which is threatening investment and regeneration of some the town's most deprived areas. Cllr Andrew Johnson, Leader of the Conservative Group on Harlow Council, said: We have a great pool of talent standing for election next year. All our candidates are local and have a range of skills that will add strength to the Conservative group on Harlow Council and help scrutinise Labours poor decision making. Harlow Labour are void of any ideas on how to protect services and plan for Harlows future. We want Harlow Council to work better and smarter with taxpayers money by reducing bureaucracy and wasteful spending. Only Harlow Conservatives can offer Harlow the strong leadership it needs from the Civic Centre." Ends Note to Editors:
