The author of this article is writing an academic journal regarding the cost and consequences of the use of drones in war. The article shows that there are consequence of using drones because they have shown to have a very negative political aspect with the local populations by the destruction the missiles these drones use are directly affecting. Through this the cost of the drone war can be simply summarized as the creation of despise and hate from the very locals these drone are sought out to protect. This is caused by the death of innocent lives these drones may on occasion inflict, angering the local people who in many circumstances seek to join the radical groups against the Americans. The main purpose of drones are for military uses, where they are used for surveillance and also carry weapon systems on them for more tactical reasons. The article explains that the governments currently using these drones are trying to incorporate them into civilian surveillance which has already been approved by the senate in the United States. If these countries pushing for this movement succeeds it will drastically increase the amount the government local, state, or nationally will be able to both protect and watch over their citizens.

This article is part of an academic journal that was a main piece in a military review journal. It explains that there has been two sides of people on the drone debate. Those people who believe that they are a great technological advancement that give the U.S. a great advantage, and those who believe that the uses of these machines are not right and destructive. The debate in the article results in the idea that using drones could be an ultimately positive if they are used correctly. The article tells that the use of drones has been desensitizing war making it easier to destroy anything without a psychological effect on the person. It also describes how the use of these drones will most likely soon be used in more modern surveillance across our own homeland.

Drones are perfect for these circumstances due to their inferred sights that allow them to see body heat in even the worst weather or under anything. The story also explains that the drone will more than likely begin to be incorporated into every local legal system for greater surveillance of the community. The webpage gives the reader images and blue prints of the aircraft showing a great description of everything the drone has done through its history. Due to the fact that all the information of this site is proven through the very people who work on the aircraft it make the site a perfect place to pull facts and statistics from.

This article shows how the U.S government has begun using drones as their main source of solving conflicts regarding terrorism. They have begun using this method because lives of soldiers are never at risk, and as a whole missions are much safer for even the loss of equipment. Though it is argued that using the drones arent always exact and carry some rates for failure, this is caused by the inability to fully identify the targets you have attacked. This article gives the reader a view of the positives of using drone warfare and carries an informative side.
