Jigsaw II Lesson Plan 2 The strength of this lesson plan is that students can use their computer skills

and writing skills. Another strength of this lesson plan is that the links for the research they are to use already has all the information that the teachers want their students to know. A weakness of this lesson plan is that students are put into partners to share their findings instead of groups. This lesson plan offsets the model we are taught in class. In class we are taught to split the students into groups and each member of the group becomes an expert and teaches their group. However, this lesson plan requires students to do research and pair with a partner to teach them what they had researched. The teacher created this unique lesson plan so that they were partnered up instead of in groups. This allows for students to spend more time teaching what they had learned, and to one person, instead of in a group. This allows for more student interaction because students will not get shy because they are talking to a peer instead of a group of peers. If I were to perform this lesson in a classroom I would find more links for the students to use, but I would also make groups of at least three.
