QUANTIFIERS

LARGE QUANTITY a lot of (count) lots of (uncount) a lot (no noun) (+ ? sentences) much (uncountable) (- ? sentences) many (countable) (- ? sentences) plenty of (+ sentences) (enough or more) SMALL QUANTITY little (uncountable) ZERO QUANTITY any (- ? sentences) MORE than you need too (adjective) LESS than you need (not) enough (before noun, after an adj.)

too much (uncountable) too many (countable) AS MUCH as you need enough (before noun, after an adj.)

Examples:
Do you have a lot of friends? Dont worry, we have lots of time. He swims a lot. There isnt much cake left. How many brothers does he have? We have plenty of water/books. There is little fruit left. There are few apples left. Are there any jobs? There are no positions available. There are none. It is too big. We have too much milk! There are too many problems. Bournemouth doesnt have enough cinemas. The bath isnt hot enough.
