Security with Technology in Supervision Julie is a 26-year-old masters student that is in her practicum stage of her program.

Parts of Julies requirements for graduation are to receive wee ly supervision !y !oth her practicum site and her university. Julie attends a wee ly meeting at school with five other students that are in the same part of the school program as she is. "uring her wee ly school supervision meetings each of the five students plays a ten-minute audio taped segment of a session from that wee . #hile playing the audiotape each classmate is as ed to complete an evaluation form that will offer constructive feed!ac a!out the counseling session. Julie does not want to come to class unprepared so she audio tapes each counseling session that she conducts and eeps those tapes in her car so she doesnt forget to !ring one to class. The wee ly supervision meetings that Julie attends at her practicum site are via S ype with Paul$ the site supervisor. Julie has never actually met Paul face to face. Paul is the only licensed counselor that wor s for the company where Julie is completing her practicum that can conduct supervision that will !e accepta!le for her university. Julie uses her personal laptop computer to ma e a S ype call once a wee with Paul. There are many !enefits of not having to !e at the !ric s and mortar !uilding during supervision with Paul. Julie will often times ta e her laptop to the local coffee shop and pull up her computer at a ta!le to conduct supervision with Paul.
