Learning Environment A. Classroom Management: The activities that are done in this class are mostly completed as a whole.

The students are frequently at the carpet and are always able to add their input in class discussions. The students are always expected to behave appropriately. The classroom as a whole are expected to act respectfully. All of the children should, at all times, treat their classmates with respect and also the educator. The children are also required to make good choices. Many times some of the students do not choose their actions wisely. Another rule for the students to abide by is to reach for the starts. They are expected to always do their best when it comes down to their work and complete it to the best of their ability. The students in this classroom do face consequences when the rules they are given are broken. The first time the student gets their number written on the board which signifies that a warning has been given. The next time the student is spoken to about the problem, they get a dot by their name and they are required to see the teacher at recess to discuss what they were doing wrong and why. If the students jeopardize the safety of any of their classmates or others, they are escorted to the principals office where they have to discuss the matter there. My students enjoy doing a various amount of different things, therefore there should be many intrinsic reinforcements present. Some students like to work with arts and crafts, some like puzzles, and some like reading and writings. I will make sure that the work that is assigned to the students spark that inner talent that all of them withhold. The centers will be interesting, allowing them to explore, have fun, but learn at the same time. The classroom activities that are completed as whole will challenge them, but will also assist in their learning processes. Students will be recognized for their good work and their following of the rules. Starbucks are given to the students who do a great job at following all the rules and procedures during the day. They are also called out for good behavior, for example, I like the way Johnny is sitting quietly in his seat waiting for instruction. When children see that one student is praised or called out for good performance they will try to do the same. This way everyone in the classroom will be striving to do their best. B. Non-Instructional Routines and Procedures: Students will come into the classroom and put their homework folders in the green basket and will hang up their book bags. Before the morning broadcast is shown I will call out the breakfast choices, call out their names, and allow the students say yes or no if they want that choice. When this is done attendance is taken at the same time. After the morning show is over, I will call out lunch choices and allows the students to raise their hands for which choice they decide on. When the lunch choices are out of the way, pencils will be sharpened before morning work is handed out. There is a helper that is chosen for the day and they will help distribute materials for the day such as pencils, handouts, and any other materials that are needed. The helper of the day will also call silent tables when leaving the carpet and will lead the line for the day. There is a bathroom within the classroom that the students are allowed to utilize throughout the day. I will escort the students to the special area for the day, lunch, and to recess. When fire drills are performed throughout the day I will make sure that all the children line up at the door appropriately, get outside, and I will do a head count to ensure that all the children made it safely to the assigned destination.
