Adult Roles and Responsibilities

WELCOME!
If you are looking for a class that is fun, applicable to your life and challenging? Well, you are in the right place. In this class you will learn more about yourself and set goals for your future. You will learn about relationships and communication. Not only will you learn about dating but marriage and parenting. This is a class that will give you the knowledge you need to be successful, happy and create lasting relationships. We are excited to get to know you and go on this adventure with you. Grade Break Down


25% Assignments: Assignments will be discussed and handed out in class. Each assignment will have the due date at the top of the paper. 25% Tests: There will be a test after each unit. There are four units in this course so there will be four tests given by me and there is a state test for this course. Therefore, there will be a total of five tests. 25% Project: At the end of this semester students will be expected to participate in and complete an end of the semester project. Details will be given throughout the semester as the project will be split up into pieces to make it more manageable. 25% Participation/Attendance: All you have to do is come to class and participate and you will get these points. You will be allowed two absences before points will be taken off of your grade.

A 93% and above AB+ B B93%-90% 90%-87% 87%-83% 83%-80% C+ C CD+ D F 80%-77% 77%-73% 73%-70% 70%-67% 67%-60% 60%-0%

Late work policy:


The assignments are due at the beginning of class. If the assignment is turned in the same day after school only 5% will be taken off. After that each day the assignment is late 10% will be taken from the grade.
