Roll a dice: 1/2/3 = 1 war, 4/5 = 2 wars, 6 = 3 wars
Step Three
Senate votes on generals to the conflict
One general needed per war Volunteers called for, senate votes from among volunteers If a tie, dice rolled to determine winner No one may serve in more than one war per turn
Step Four
Of factions NOT involved in war, resolve the following sequence (random order until all are dead or have gone):
Faction may choose to do nothing May attack one or more individuals that did not go to war with assassination or indictment card(s)
If the person attacked cannot produce a bodyguard or mob card they are killed If they can produce the appropriate card they live Any player eliminated is out of the game The attacker is not eliminated in any case
Faction members may give their action cards to other members in their faction whenever needed; Generals must give them before they leave for war All action cards played are used and returned to the treasury A faction that eliminates a senator gets an additional power base point card to be distributed to one of the factions members

If a war is lost, each person that went rolls the dice. Roll of 1 = dies, eliminated from game If war is won, general gets a temporary extra power base bonus equal to the number they rolled; this is only for the general and lasts only one turn
