Upper Leg:Femur Femur Bone is the largest bone in the body.

Right Femur: articulates with hip and points medially. Bottom part points to the rear. 1.Femoral Head, 2.Neck 3.Greater Trochanter on the side for muscle attachment 4.Lesser Trochanter is rear of superior(Posterior portion) 5.Medial Epi/condyle: Condyle on the same side of Medial head 6.Lateral Epi/condyle are at the Inferior side.

Intercondylar fossa is between the condiles. The only bone articulates with Femur is the Tibia distally. Lateral & Medial Supercondilar ridges Left Femur Head points into the body Posterior Indentation !nterior Smooth surface
