Bottom part points to the rear. 1.Femoral Head, 2.Neck 3.Greater Trochanter on the side for muscle attachment 4.Lesser Trochanter is rear of superior(Posterior portion) 5.Medial Epi/condyle: Condyle on the same side of Medial head 6.Lateral Epi/condyle are at the Inferior side.

Intercondylar fossa is between the condiles. The only bone articulates with Femur is the Tibia distally. Lateral & Medial Supercondilar ridges Left Femur Head points into the body Posterior Indentation !nterior Smooth surface
