Production Scheduling Overview: Manage the development, implementation, maintenance and communication of the operational production schedule which

meets business and customer service objectives for the respective marketing division and the Logistics function. These positions provide scheduling and other logistics support for products generally sold in the US.

Accountabilities:

Develop manufacturing production schedules which minimize costs while delivering target customer service levels Utilize planning systems in the best possible manner to minimize manual scheduling efforts, provide optimized schedules and ensure smooth transfer of information between systems for transparency of information throughout the Supply Chain. Support and contribute to cost savings and margin enhancement projects. Meet finished product requirements for the assigned customer service if deployment is included Ensure proper actions are taken to minimize exposure to losses due to product age Provide regular reporting and updates on key performance metrics such as case fill and inventory levels Develop expertise in General Mills planning systems and in inventory management strategies contributing to the overall improvement in General Mills capabilities in these areas. Utilize CI to ensure best practice business processes are followed.
