2 DESCRIPTION OF THE WORKS

2-1 GENERAL BUILDING BACKGROUND Building Name, London 2 is a 14 storey office and data centre complex located in London's xyz area. 2-2 ASBESTOS The Employer xxxx has made arrangements for asbestos to be managed by Company Ltd. For general details of the asbestos arrangements for the site refer to the Asbestos Register held by the Facilities Department. 2-3 BUILDING 1 EXTENSION WORKS The extension to the main building provides 1042 m2 of Office Space and associated Basement Plant Area having an overall load of 100 kW of UPS supported power-feeding IT equipment. The extension comprises of a single storey steel frame structure with ground bearing concrete. The building envelope is formed from a block and brick cavity wall construction with aluminium windows with double glazed sealed units and trickle ventilators.
