Brookline Teen Mentorship

MISSION STATEMENT: Our mission is to provide a free, supportive learning environment and structure for kids in the 6th, 7th, 8th grades of the Brookline Public Elementary Schools. VISION: The club effectively pairs highly responsible and intelligent high school kids with elementary school students. The high school students serve as tutors and role models for kids who will be transitioning into the high school in a just a few years. WHERE: At the Brookline Teen Center on Sundays. Once the two students have created a relationship our goal is to have direct contact between students and or parents if necessary. Extra time can be scheduled in regards to times that would work well for both parties. WHEN: Sundays at the Brookline Teen Center will begin on Jan. 12, 2014 and end Jun. 1, 2014. Each pair of students will meet every other week from 1230-200, but the teen center will be open every Sunday at this time. Thus, if any student needs to reschedule, the subsequent week will be an option. If weekday times are preferred, the school times will vary. WHO ARE THE TUTORS?
