Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions, and read the Bible Story with scripture references indicated under the power outlets. As this is done each day, let your child color in or put a sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will have their Picture posted in the foyer of Power Source and their name in the newsletter.

Christians are new creatures through their faith in Christ, and the power of sin over them no longer rules, but the power of their Savior, Jesus Christ rules. II Corinthians 5:17, If any man be in Christ he is a new creation; old things are passed away; behold all things have been made new.

Father God, Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastor Ron and his family. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love is flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great you are and how much I love you. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed. In Jesus' name, Amen

When we become Christians our hearts are made clean as we believe in the power of Jesuss blood to wash our sins away. Just like the captain of the Syrian army, Naaman, was washed clean of leprosy from his body, we are washed clean when we come into faith in Christ. Saul became a new person when he saw the light and confessed his new faith in Christ. Just like these two men who changed their lives after becoming believers in God, our lives as Christians should show the change that has happened in our hearts.

Your Word is a lamp unto my feet. Psalm 119:105 But it is good for me to draw near to God. I have put my trust in the Lord God. Psalm 73:28 I shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace. Isaiah 55:12
