    To remove the reducer from a FOX RACING SHOX shock, use a 1/4" bolt extractor to unscrew the reducer counter-clockwise from the DU bushing on each side of the shock. Then insert a stainless steel sleeve into the DU bushing and use a soft jaw vise to drive the sleeve fully into place, centering the shock eyelet using the vise and aluminum sleeve spacers.

    FOX RACING SHOX REDUCER REMOVAL METHOD

    TOOLS REQUIRED: 1/4 (6mm-8mm) Bolt Extractor and handle Soft Jaw vise

    Using bolt extractor hold shock in hand and screw bolt extractor counter clockwise with a pulling motion. The reducer will back out of DU Bushing. Repeat other side.

    Insert the Stainless steel sleeve into the shocks DU Bushing. Place shock eyelet into a soft jaw vise.

    Once placed into vise turn the vise handle so that the sleeve is driven into DU Bushing. Once sleeve is pushed to the other side you will need to turn the shock body up and down in order to slide shock eyelet to the center of sleeve. Take the shock out of the vise and place Aluminum sleeve spacers on each side. Reload shock eyelet into the vise and turn handle again for nal centering.
