Power Cable 1. Cut a 3 1/2" power connector off of an old power supply and leave as much wire as you can. 2. Cut the Red wire and insulation as shown. 3. Solder the 7805 regulator IC as shown. 4. Solder the Yellow wire to the female connector of the 9 volt connector and solder the 2 black wire to the male connector. 5. Tape the solder joints to avoid shorts. 6. Finished Cable should look like the one shown.

Control Cable Use 2 conductor cable for the motor control. (Something like speaker wire or Cat 5) 1. Flip the drive over so you can see the solder connections of the 34 pin connector. Locate pin 1/ 2 or 33/34 . Pins 1 thru 33 are all grounds and are in the same row. Pins 2 thur 34 are signal pins and are in the same row. When counting the pins it will be 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17,19,21,23,25,27,29, 31,33 of the same row. The other row will be 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,20,22, 24,26,28, 30,32,34

2. Locate pin 12 and solder a jumper wire to one of the ground pins. (Shown Below) 3. Connect one conductor of your cable wire to pin 16 and the other end to the center contact of a toggle switch. 4. Connect the other conductor of your wire to a ground pin and the other end to the outside pin of the toggle switch.
