SPECIFICATIONS SECTION 12630 STADIUM & ARENA SEATING PART 1 GENERAL 1.01 General A).

. Work covered under this section includes providing all material for the installation of stadium seating, accessories and all hardware. B). This section includes: 1). Stadium Chairs for spectator seating area for mounting directly on the concrete 2). Related Accessories 1.02 Delivery, Storage & Handling A). Packing & Shipping: Deliver seats in good conditions identified carton boxes of manufacturer, and each seat inside a plastic bag for protection against scratching, weather conditions and dust. B). Boxes with accessories should be identified clearly. 1.03 Reference Codes & Standards A). Seats are to be manufactured to strict technical regulations governed by parts of the following Standards: A). EN 13200:2006 Spectator Facilities parts 1 to 6 B). Quality Assurance: 1).Manufacturer of seats shall be ISO 9001:2008 accredited and have the technical qualification, experience and trained personnel and facilities to perform the specific work. 2). The suppliers of the raw materials of the stadium seats shall be ISO 9001 accredited. 1.04 Submittals A). Submit all catalogues, test certificates and samples of each type before starting the work.

PART 2 PRODUCTS 2.01 General Monoblock, self-bearing, ergonomically designed stadium seat with high back (350 mm). Injection-moulded in high-quality copolymer polypropylene with stabilizers for protection against UV light and other adverse weather conditions. Coloured through the use of masterbatches, smooth gloss finish. Combination of different standard colours available without additonal costs. The seat is sealed around the whole of its perimeter to prevent dirt from accumulating inside the seats. Curved front edge of 35 mm with right-angle base with overlapping terrace front. High resistant to vandals throught its ribbed/nerved structure. Fixation in a central anchorage point. Central drainage hole. Optionally the seat is easy identifiable through an aluminum numbering plate in the upper part of the backrest within a recessed disc. The number is fixed with 2 rivets and stand up to regular wear and tear.

2.02 Material A). High quality copolymer polypropylene from multinacional ISO certified company. B). Color masterbatches: High class color masterbatches with minimum Lighfastness on Blue Wool Scale of 7 8 C). Stabilizers: stabilizers for protection against UV light and other adverse weather conditions

2.03 Specific Specifications A. General Seating 1). The seat shall have a backrest of at least 350 mm, min. width 425 mm and min. depth 430 mm max. depth 450 mm. 2). To guarantee a high quality and strong seat in terms of sufficient material the minimum weight of each seat shall be minimum 1,50 kgs (not including the fixing bolts) 2). The seat shall be attached directly to the concrete by means of one (1) sleeve anchor. 3). The seat shall be ergonomically designed to provide maximum user comfort. 4). The seat shall be guaranteed to maintain its original colour with minimal fading for a three (3) year guarantee period. 5). The seat shall rests on its entire base perimeter with the front part fixed to the edge of the concrete step 6). Model CR-4 of Daplast, s.l. . (Spain) or similar 2.04 General Specifications

A). The seat is easy identifiable through an aluminium number plate of 40 x 20 x 0,6 mm, in the upper part of the backrest within a recessed disc. The number is fixed with 2 rivits which makes it very resistant to wear and tear. B). A single, two or three digit numbering system shall be supplied. C). The seat shall embrace the sustainable environment considerations of reduce, reuse, recycle accordingly all components are to be recyclable 2.05 Test Criteria A). The seat shall be tested on strength and durability by an independent laboratory according to International Norm: o EN 12727 Furniture. Ranked seating. Test methods and requirements for strength and durability. The tested model satisfactorily fulfills the specifications for the standard use for a level 4 (severe public use) in the following tests: 1). Seat static load test (F= 2.000N., 10 sec, 10 cycles) 2). Back static load test (F= 760 N., 10 sec, 10 cycles) 3). Horizontal forward static load to back (F=760 N., 10 sec, 10 cycles) 4). Vertical static test on back (V=900 N., 10 sec, 10 cycles) 5). Seat impact test (h=300mm, 10 cycles) 6). Back impact test (= 68, 10 cycles) 7). Horizontal forward durability test (F=330 N., n=100.000 cycles) 8). Combined seat and back durability test (Fv=950 N., Fh=330 N, n= 200.000 cycles) B). Tested on UV durability according to specifications En 13200-4:2006 item 7.3: o Plastics Methods of exposure to laboratory light sources Part 2: Xenon Arc Lams. Standard UNE-EN IS 4892-2:2006 o Plastics Determination of Charpy Impact Properties. Part1: NonInstrumented Impact Test. Standard UNE-EN ISO 179-1:2005 o Plastics Determination of tensile properties. Part2: Test conditions for moulding and extrusion plastics. Standard: UNE-EN ISO 5272:1997

2.06 Approved Manufacturers A). The Manufacturer will have to demonstrate a minimum experience of 10 years of supplying seats for similar projects. B). The Manufacturer will have to be officially approved by at least one (1) International Sport Federation (FIFA, FIBA, IAAF, ITF, etc). C). Manufactured according ISO 9001:2008 Quality Assurance Norm 2.07 Warranty Submit manufacturers warranty valid for a minimum period of three (3) years on manufacturing failure - END OF SECTION -
