Oakwood School, North Hollywood, CA Assistant Librarian/Co-Director of Immersion Programs 2011-present As Assistant Librarian for seventh through twelfth grade independent school: Design and implement information literacy instruction for grades 7-12; collaborate with faculty on the integration of information literacy skills into the curriculum; provide reference and research assistance to individual students; coordinate acquisition of print and media resources with particular attention to young adult collection; maintain librarys website and other online instructional materials and subject guides (e.g., LibGuides); develop and oversee parent volunteer program and student library committee. School-wide responsibilities include middle school advisor to seventh and eighth grade students and co-chair of faculty committee on Information Technology As Co-Director of Immersion Programs: Collaborate with school faculty to design and implement curriculum for annual two-week long courses for 470 students.
