MTV Cribs:

Its the year 2030 and you are a professional architect who designs fabulous cribs for celebrity clients. Your clients want the best of the best, and you are here to give them everything they have ever wanted and more! In fact, the crib that youre about to design for your old high school buddy has gained such acclaim that it is going to be featured on the TV show Cribs- congratulations!

Project Components:
Each person will serve as both an architect and a client. Your job as a client is to provide your architect with as much information as possible about your lifestyle and needs. For example; who do you live with, what is your occupation, what do you do for fun, do you want any special features in your homeetc? Your responsibility as a client is to turn in the client evaluation sheet. Your job as an architect is to employ the engineering design process and your knowledge of Google Sketchup to create plans for a home for your client. Your final plans must contain at least two detailed floor plans (top view) and a 3D view of the outside of the home. Your responsibilities as an architect are to turn in the client needs sheet, present your final plans to the class, and to submit your engineering design process sheet at the end of the project.

Project Timeline:
Day 1- Project introduction + client meetings. Client Needs signed off by the end of class. Day 2- Project work day. Day 3- Project work day. Day 4- Client meeting + project revisions work day. Final plans must be submitted by 3:45pm. Day 5- Project presentations. Client Evaluation and Engineering Design Process due by 3:45pm.

30 points- Final Plans 10 points- Design Process Sheet 5 points- Client Needs Sheet 5 points-Client Evaluation Sheet
