NOTICE OF TORT CLAIM

Pursuant to Idaho's Tort Claims Act, Idaho Code Section 6-90 I et seq., Lori Denise Howard
hereby submits a claim for damages against the City ofPost Falls and Officers Bowne, Leonard and
Sanchez, employees of the City of Post Falls and Post Falls Police Department, and in support of
said claim provides the following information.
Conduct and circumstances: On or about October 25, 2008, Post Falls Police Officers
Bowne, Leonard and Sanchez, acting within the course and scope of their employment as police
officers employed by the City of Post Falls, committed an illegal trespass on the property of
Claimant, and subjected her to an illegal arrest, and in effecting that illegal arrest used excessive
force and violence, and as a result physically injured the Claimant.
Time andplace: October 25,2009 at approximately 10:00 p.m., at 202 E. 4

Avenue, Post
Falls, Idaho.
Names ofpersons involved: Officers Bowne, Leonard and Sanchez ofthe Post Falls Police
Department, and the Claimant.
Amount ofdamages: In excess of One hundred thousand Dollars ($100,000.00).
Residence of Claimant: 309 E. Railroad Avenue, Post Falls, Idaho.
