About Edgar Cayce


Edgar Cayce %as born on a !ar$ near 1op"insville, Kentuc"y. At an early age he gave evidence o! his budding talent; he %as able to $aster his school lessons by sleeping on his boo"s. At the age o! t%enty#one he developed a gradual throat paralysis %hich threatened the loss o! his voice. 2hen doctors %ere unable to !ind a cause !or his condition, Cayce entered the sa$e hypnotic sleep that had enabled hi$ to learn his school lessons years be!ore. .n that state, he %as able to reco$$end a cure %hich success!ully repaired his throat $uscles and restored his voice. .t %as soon discovered that he could do the sa$e !or others.
